Images
The Images section in the Admin Panel is used to manage the images that can be assigned to products and product groups. This centralized image management system ensures consistency and ease of use when adding visual elements throughout the application.
Uploading Images
To add one or more images:
- Navigate to the Images section from the left sidebar.
- Click on Add Image.
- Drag and drop single or multiple image files into the upload area.
- Click Save to upload the images.
Once the images are processed, they will become available for use in other areas of the system.
Tip
You can upload multiple images at once to save time when preparing your product catalog.
Using Images in Products and Product Groups
After uploading, the images can be assigned to products or product groups through the respective configuration sections.
- When adding a product or product group, go to the Image URL field.
- Begin typing the name of the uploaded file to search for and select the desired image.
Tip
It is recommended to use clear and descriptive filenames when uploading images. This makes it easier to search and reference them later during product setup.
Using Image URLs in Settings
Each uploaded image is automatically assigned a unique URL.
This URL can also be used in other configuration areas, including the Settings page:
- To upload your establishment’s logo
- To display a logo on printed receipts or tickets
Simply copy the image URL and paste it into the appropriate field when configuring the settings.
Note
Image URLs generated here are reusable across the Admin Panel, including in the Settings section for branding purposes. This makes it easy to maintain visual consistency.
Best Practices
- Upload all required images before starting to configure your products or product groups.
- Name your image files based on the product or group they represent (e.g.,
espresso.png,cold-drinks.jpg). - Avoid uploading duplicate or unnecessary images to keep the repository organized.
Summary
The Images section streamlines the process of managing visual content across your menu. Uploading and organizing your images in advance will speed up product configuration and improve visual consistency across the POS application.
