Main Menu
The Main Menu in the POS Android App provides quick access to additional tools and utilities. It can be accessed by tapping the Menu button located in the top-right corner of the Home Screen.
Role-Based Access
Menu options vary depending on the type of user currently logged in:
- Admin Users have full access to administrative and configuration features
- Server/Waiter Users see only the options relevant to their day-to-day role
Menu Options for Admin Users
Employee Shift
Opens the Worker Shift Management Page for starting, stopping, or reviewing the user’s own shift.
Table Plan Editor
Enables creation and modification of the restaurant table layout, including positioning and zone assignments.
Print Shift History
Allows browsing and printing of historical Z and X reports:
- Print Z Reports for completed booking dates
- Print X Reports for the currently running shift
Warning
This option is available only to Admin users.
Shift Management
Used to start or stop establishment shifts (booking periods), including confirming whether the closing shift is the final one of the day.
Product Barcode Printer
Access a dedicated interface for printing product barcodes, assuming a sticker printer is connected and configured.
Application Settings
Opens device-level configuration for local behavior, UI preferences, and system-specific adjustments.
Logout
Logs the current user out of the application.
To log back in, users must re-enter their Org ID, Username, and Password from the full login screen.
Note
Logging out fully resets the session and device state, requiring full credential re-authentication.
Summary
The Main Menu acts as the gateway to both operational tools and administrative controls.
It is context-aware and tailored to the permissions of the current user.
Tip
Encourage staff to lock the screen rather than log out, unless switching devices or users entirely — logout resets the session and requires a full login with credentials.
