Settings Page
The Settings Page provides device-level and application-level information and customization options.
It can be accessed from the Home Screen by opening the Main Menu and scrolling to the Settings option at the bottom.
Overview
The Settings Page does not reflect the currently logged-in user via PIN, but instead focuses on:
- The Register Account that is logged into the device
- The Organization ID
- The Register Type (Main or Register)
- Basic Organization Information
Functional Options

Used to verify that printing is properly set up on the device.

- Not guaranteed to function for Play Store installations
UI Customization
Theme Mode
Switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode depending on user preference and environment.
Product Visual Mode
Enables a simplified product layout that applies color coding: - Product tiles show the background color defined in the Admin Panel - Enhances visual recognition during fast-paced ordering
Device and App Information
App Version
Displays the current version number of the installed application.
Special build suffixes may be present (e.g., blackbox for the SCE-certified version).
App Serial Number
Displays the device-specific serial number used by the application.
This number persists between installations unless the application signature changes.
Device Summary
Provides diagnostic information about the device running the app, useful for support or troubleshooting.
Additional Actions
-
Open System Settings
Opens the Android system settings on the device. -
Log Out
Logs out the register session. This requires a full login again with Org ID, Username, and Password. -
Close App
Exits the POS application.
Note
Logging out is different from PIN-based screen lock. Log out ends the register session entirely.
Summary
The Settings Page allows administrators and staff to manage interface preferences, troubleshoot hardware, and view device-level information.
While accessible to all roles, certain actions (like logging out) may be more relevant to Admin users depending on usage policies.
