Pickup Points

The Pickup section defines the places customers can collect an online order from, and when they can collect it.

A pickup point is useful when collection does not happen at your counter — a market stall, a locker, a partner shop, or a second site.

Warning

Pickup points are not available in the SCE Certification Version 1 — the section is hidden entirely in the certified version.

Adding a Pickup Point

Click Add Pickup and fill in:

Field Required Purpose
Name Yes How the point is presented to the customer
Phone Yes Contact number for that location
Address Where the customer goes
Type The kind of pickup point

If nothing has been created yet, the page shows No Pickup found.

Opening Hours

Two separate schedules govern a pickup point, and the difference matters:

  • Order Time — when customers may place an order for this point
  • Pickup Time — when they may collect it

Each is built from time slots, added a Day and a Start time at a time.

Tip

Keep the two apart deliberately. A stall that only trades on Saturday morning might accept orders all week (Order Time) while offering collection on Saturday only (Pickup Time). Setting both to the same hours forces customers to order during the collection window, which is rarely what you want.

Warning

A pickup point with no time slots cannot be chosen by a customer. If a location never appears at checkout, check that both schedules have slots covering the period.

Summary

  • Pickup points are collection locations for online orders
  • Name and Phone are required
  • Order Time controls when an order can be placed; Pickup Time when it can be collected
  • Both schedules are built from day-and-time slots
